Thorn Springs is a historic Great Karoo homestead set on a working farm just outside Middelburg in the Eastern Cape, offering comfortable and spacious accommodation for hunting safaris. Built in 1905, the homestead combines traditional Karoo character with modern comforts, providing a relaxed base after a day in the field.

Guests arrive via long gravel farm roads that open onto classic Karoo landscapes—rolling farmland, warm desert tones, distant mountains, and abundant wildlife including springbok, diverse birdlife, and plains game typical of the region.
